Worked at All Russia Research Institute of Nature Protection and Reserve Studies, Central Research Laboratory of Hunting. Since 2000 has worked in the Wrangel Island nature reserve.
Scientific activity at the reserve: “Population Ecology of Hoofed Animals”, elaboration of musk oxen terrestrial trapping and maintenance methods.
Took part in projects of trapping musk oxen on Taimyr island, their re-acclimatization in the Polar Urals and Yakutia, was engaged in the relocation of elks on Kamchatka.
Member of Wisents and Bison Committee (musk oxen subgroup) of the Russian Theriological Society of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Alexander is the author of more than 50 scientific papers and 2 miscellanies.
He was awarded with an honorary certificate by the Hunting Resources Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russian Federation.

He started his professional career in Malo-Khekhtsirsky wild life reserve in Khabarovsk region in 1977.
Has worked in the Wrangel Island nature reserve since 1983. He started as a safety inspector. Then he worked in the Ecological Enlightnment Department.
In 2001 he received a degree in biology from Irkutsk State Agricultural Academy, Faculty of Hunting Studies.
Since 1997 he has been the deputy director for safety issues.
In 2006 Igor was awarded an honorary certificate by the main branch of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage in Far Eastern Federal District.
His interests are ecological observations and photography.

Lutsiya has a degree of engineer-geologist from Sverdlovsk Mining University, specialty “Geological Surveying, Search and Exploration of Mining Field”.
She has been working in the nature reserve since 2009.
